The City of Crestwood operates as a Charter City, governed by a Mayor and an eight-member Board of Aldermen. The Mayor is elected at-large, while two Aldermen represent each of the City’s four wards, ensuring local representation.

The Board of Aldermen typically meets at 7 p.m. on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month, with a modified summer and holiday schedule, to discuss policies, approve budgets, and make key decisions. Residents are encouraged to attend and participate.
