About Alderman Balles
Term: April 2025-April 2028
Alderman Balles and his wife, Mary, moved to Crestwood in 2006 from South City St. Louis. They have two children who both attended the Lindbergh School District. Their oldest is currently in graduate school and working full time in Columbia, Missouri, while their youngest is working full time in St. Louis.
Alderman Balles has been actively involved with the City of Crestwood in various capacities. He was appointed to the Board of Adjustment by Mayor Schlink and later to the Public Works Board by Mayor Roby, where he was elected chairman approximately three years ago. Additionally, he has served twice on the TIF Commissions for the former mall site. His experience on boards and commissions has been fulfilling, and he looks forward to his responsibilities as an alderman.
He is enthusiastic about Crestwood’s growth and sees many opportunities for the city in both the near and long term. Residents of Ward 2 are encouraged to reach out with any questions or concerns.
Alderman Balles previously served an Aldermanic term from April 2022 to April 2025.
