The Communications Department keeps Crestwood connected by managing the City’s messaging, promoting programs and services, and ensuring transparent, timely communication with the public. The department works to strengthen community engagement across all platforms—now and into the future.

Crestwood Newsletter
Crestwood’s printed newsletter is delivered to residents six times a year—January-February, March-April, May-June, July-August, September-October, and November-December. Each issue includes important City updates, upcoming events, and news from various departments.
The newsletter is mailed to all Crestwood households and is also available for pickup at the Government Center and Community Center.
Three times a year—in spring, summer, and fall/winter—the newsletter includes the Parks & Recreation Activity Guide, featuring seasonal programs and events.

Crestwood Press Releases
The City of Crestwood distributes press releases and media alerts as needed to keep the public and local media informed about important news, updates, and events. If you are a member of the media and would like to be added to the City’s press release distribution list, please email AJ McNaughton.

The Crestwood Police Department’s mobile app makes it easy to stay informed about public safety and securely share information—right from your smartphone.
With the app, you can:
- Sign up to receive alerts about crime, safety issues, and other important information, via a text or email notification.
- Submit anonymous tips securely, helping officers investigate concerns while protecting your identity. (The system automatically removes identifying information before it reaches the Police Department, ensuring the sender’s privacy.)
Chief Jonathan Williams said the tool helps strengthen communication between residents and police, making it easier for the community to share information that supports public safety.
