City Elections
The City Clerk serves as the election official for the City of Crestwood and acts as the liaison to the St. Louis County Board of Elections. The Clerk oversees and manages election filings for candidates, ballot propositions, and any initiative, referendum, or recall proceedings within the City.
Municipal elections in Crestwood are generally held in April. Depending on the year, offices on the ballot may include the Mayor, Aldermen, and various ballot measures related to City business.

As mandated by Missouri statue, RSMo 115.306.2(2), individuals filing for office are required to complete Form 2150 with DOR declaring as a candidate they are not aware of any delinquency in their state taxes. As stated on the declaration of candidacy, this would include state income taxes, personal property taxes, municipal taxes, or real property taxes on their place of residence.
