Welcome to the City of Crestwood's Transparency Portal. Our goal is to provide residents and the public with easy access to key information about City operations, policies, and governance. The Mayor and Board of Aldermen, elected by the voters of Crestwood, set priorities for the city with the support of seven citizen boards and commissions, which are appointed by the Mayor with the consent of the board.
Municipal elections are held on the first Tuesday of each April. To run for office, candidates must file a Certificate of Candidacy in person with the city clerk at the Crestwood Government Center, 1 Detjen Drive, starting on the third Tuesday of December at 8 a.m. Filing remains open for the following five weeks.
Under the leadership of a board-appointed city administrator, the City's staff works to implement the priorities established by the governing body.
The City of Crestwood is committed to transparency and good governance by providing access to essential documents, policies, and plans that guide city operations and decision-making.
To promote fiscal responsibility, the City of Crestwood provides public access to its budgets, financial statements, and insurance policies.

Police Department
The Crestwood Police Department upholds public safety and accountability by sharing policies on vehicle operations, crime data reporting, and use of force, along with quarterly and annual activity reports.
