Welcome to the City of Crestwood transparency portal. Here you will find a collection of information for the public regarding city operations.
Mayor & Board of Aldermen
The Mayor and Board of Aldermen, elected by the voters of the City, set priorities for the city with the help of 11 citizen boards/commissions, which are appointed by the Mayor with the consent of the Board. The election for Municipal Officials is the first Tuesday of each April. To be listed as a candidate on the ballot, individuals must file, in person, a Certificate of Candidacy with the City Clerk at Crestwood City Hall, 1 Detjen Drive beginning on the third Tuesday in December at 8 am. Candidate filing is then open for the five weeks following that date each year.
Led by a board-appointed city administrator, the Crestwood city staff carry out the priorities set by the governing body.
