Beautification Committee
The Beautification Committee is set up to provide advice and make recommendations to the Department of Parks and Recreation for the beautification of public spaces and volunteerism, as well as to serve as the ‘Tree Board’ for the Tree City USA program.

Board of Adjustment
The Board of Adjustment is set up to hear and decide appeals where it is alleged an error has occurred in a decision or determination made by the Director of Public Works in the enforcement of zoning regulations.

Civil Service Board
The Civic Services Board meets, as needed, to review the staff policies for the City of Crestwood as well as any internal complaints that may have been filed against staff.

Fire Board
The Fire Board is set up to provide advice and recommendations on policy matters relating to the Fire Department, including such matters as improving fire protection within the City, rules and regulations governing the conduct of the members of the Fire Department and other matters for the safety and protection of the lives of the citizens and property of the City of Crestwood.

Park Board
The Park Board is set up to provide advice and recommendations on policy matters relating to the Department of Parks and Recreation, including such matters as budgeting, capital improvements, planning, recreation programs, public relations activities, rules and regulations, and other city-wide parks and recreation matters.

Planning, Zoning & Architectural Review Commission
The Planning, Zoning, and Architectural Review Commission is set up to conduct public hearings on applications and plans that involve development or redevelopment of property within the City of Crestwood, working to ensure that all development complies with the City’s comprehensive plan.

Police Board
The Police Board is set up to provide advice and recommendations on policy matters relating to the operation of the Police Department, including such matters as budgeting, capital improvements, planning, administrative procedures, public relations, training, law enforcement programs and other matters for the safety and protection of the lives of the citizens and property of the City of Crestwood.

Public Works Board
The Public Works Board is set up to provide advice and recommendations on policy matters relating to the Department of Public Works, including such matters as budgeting, capital improvements, planning, public relations, and other city-wide public works matters.

Ways & Means Committee
The Ways and Means Committee shall review the budget estimates and make recommendations altering, revising, increasing or decreasing the items as it shall deem necessary in view of the needs of the various spending agencies and the probable income for the year.
