Projects Under Construction
The Board of Aldermen approved a Conditional Use Permit for Dunkin to operate a drive-thru restaurant in the former Imo’s Pizza location at 9600 Watson Rd in December 2024. The new Dunkin’ will retrofit the existing facilities with a new drive-thru and façade enhancements. It will include a limited interior eating area near the walk-in counter.

Dierbergs Crestwood Crossing has received Final Development Plan approval for Phase 1B and Partial Phase 2B of the Crestwood Crossing redevelopment on the western 4 acres of the commercial district which includes locally-owned Katie's Pizza & Pasta. Construction is currently underway and expected to be completed in 2025.
In Spring 2025, the Planning, Zoning, and Architectural Review Commission approved Site Plans submitted by the Lindbergh School District to construct a building addition and new access & circulation facilities at Long Elementary School at 9021 Sappington Rd. The plans include a 20,000 sqft gym/emergency shelter addition and a new off-street parking lot drop-off loop to relieve traffic conditions and improve safety during school pick and drop off hours. The plan also includes a proposal to re-locate the main entrance on Sappington Rd to align with Garber Rd.
Permits have been issued for the construction of the new gym/storm shelter, and preliminary land disturbance has begun.

Under Review/Permits Issued
7 Brew Drive-Thru Coffee has submitted site development plans to the City of Crestwood for 9265 Watson Road, part of the Crestwood Crossing development. The plans include a stand-alone building with two drive-thru lanes wrapping around the structure.
The Planning Commission is expected to review the plans at its January 7 meeting at the Government Center. If approved following the review, Seven Brew will be able to submit building permit applications to begin construction.
The Planning & Zoning Commission approved a minor site plan for Dogs For Our Brave, a nonprofit organization that boards and trains service dogs for military veterans, at its Dec. 3 meeting. Their new facility will be located at 9960 Watson Road, the former site of a National Tire & Battery service center.
Dogs For Our Brave’s mission is to provide professionally trained service dogs at no cost to wounded veterans who have honorably served our country.
According to the organization, approximately 85% of the new building’s square footage will be dedicated to dog welfare and training, supporting its focus on veterans with significant mobility challenges and ensuring the ability to serve both new and existing veteran partners.
The Planning, Zoning, and Architectural Review Commission approved the Final Development Plan for a QuikTrip gas station and convenience store at 9507 Watson Road, part of the Crestwood Crossing development. The plan includes a 6400-square foot convenience store and twelve gas pumps.
Construction is anticipated to begin on this phase of the redevelopment by Fall 2026.
The Board of Aldermen approved a Conditional Use Permit for Sam’s Club Fuel Station, 10248 Big Bend Blvd., to expand their operations, utilizing eight gas pumps (16 total pump stations) under a larger canopy structure with traffic access improvements. Permits have been issued and construction is anticipated to begin Winter 2025-2026.
