City Programs

The City of Crestwood Parks and Recreation Department offers a variety of programs and park amenities. This page serves as a quick guide to help visitors easily find the Parks and Recreation information they need.

Beautification Grant Application

Any City of Crestwood resident or neighborhood group may be eligible for a beautification grant of up to $500 to enhance a public right-of-way, public space, common ground, or even private property. Applications are accepted through June 30 of each fiscal year.

Commemorative Tree & Bench Program

The Parks and Recreation Department offers a commemorative tree and bench program, allowing applicants to work with staff to select a meaningful location within the City’s parks. This is a wonderful way to honor a special occasion, such as the birth of a child, a milestone birthday, a wedding anniversary, or the memory of a loved one.

Residential Street Tree Planting Program

Depending on availability and funding, residents can receive a street tree with the cost and planting covered by the City. To participate, residents must meet planting requirements and submit an application. The species must be approved from the City’s allowable list, with any unlisted species requiring prior approval.  If City staff determine that a tree cannot be planted in the available space, applicants will be notified.
