The City of Crestwood announces that Administrative Assistant Patrick Benwell has earned certification as a Missouri Registered City Clerk from the Missouri City Clerks and Finance Officers Association, recognizing years of professional training and commitment to municipal service.
The Missouri Registered City Clerk designation is awarded to those who complete extensive continuing education and professional development in municipal law, records management, public meetings, elections, and local government administration. The certification reflects a strong commitment to maintaining professional standards while supporting transparent and effective city operations.
Benwell began working toward the certification in January 2022, completing a multi-year program of coursework and professional development to earn the designation in 2026.
